This year, the „Mallorca Western Festival” will take place for the third time in the bullfight arena of Palma, the “Plaza de Toros”., from
September 18th - 21st .
The festival is the first event combining top-class horse riding tournaments for western riding (Reining) with show acts and first-class entertainment.
The premiere in the year 2006 was already a great success. Since then the Mallorca Western Festival developed to one of the most important horse riding events in Spain. Amongst the professional western riders, the tournament is considered as one of the most important reining events worldwide. The tournament is approved by the NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) and attracts riders from the USA, Canada and throughout Europe.
Moreover Jean-François Pignon & friends will not only enthuse Western fans with its spectacular freestyle dressage show. Local riding competitions as Pura Raza Española or Copa de Cavall make the programme diversified.
